Homemade soap good for pregnant women
This homemade soap recipe is wonderful for pregnant women, but not only. Skin care is very important during the pregnancy and after you give birth and you should try to use natural products as much as you can.
The result of this homemade recipe will be a creamy, sparkling homemade soap. If you would like obtain a scentless soap, you can choose to eliminate the essential oils used in the trace phase. (without adding essential oils you also can use the soap for babies).
You will need:
- 100 g unprocessed Shea butter
- 300 g coconut butter
- 100 g cocoa butter
- 100 g palm butter
- 90 g castor oil
- 123 g sodium hydroxide
- 325 ml distilled water
- 300 g olive oil (instead of pure olive oil you can use 100 g carrots infused for 2 weeks in 300 g olive oil)
After you mix and smooth all the ingredients you can choose to add essential oils (in the trace phase):
- 10 ml lavender essential oil
- 5 ml lemon essential oil
- 15 ml sweet almond oil
