Honey and olive oil homemade liquid soap
As I’ve already said I am trying to do as many hygiene and beauty products myself. I think is more safe and if my skin could talk it will surely thank me J
Soap is a hygiene product used on a daily basis, many times a day, in each home. So soap was one of the first products I tried to do it myself.
The liquid ones are more easier to do then the solid ones.
Here is the first liquid soap recipe I have tried – is simple and very moisturizing.
You will need:
- 1 cup natural soap flakes (flavorless)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 5 cups of chamomile infusion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable glycerin
- 10 drops essential oil – whatever you like
The chamomile infusion must reach the boiling point. When this happens pour it over the soap flakes and stir continuously until they are dissolved. Leave it to cool until it reaches the body temperature.
Now is time to add the glycerin, honey, olive oil and essential oil. Mix very well everything until you obtain a homogenized mixture.
Pour the composition in a liquid soap recipient and start using this amazing homemade soap!
